Czech Andrea Hlavackova, who won the Roland Garros Ladies Doubles title with Lucie Hradecka, defeated American teenager Melanie Oudin 6-1, 6-3 in the 1st round at the Bell Challenge WTA event in Quebec City.

Oudin, who was a Quarterfinalist at the 2009 US Open in singles and as recently as last week captured the US Open Mixed Doubles title with teenager Jack Sock, is now ranked outside of the top 100.
